Hi there!
I understand the experiences you’ve had leading up to this decision may have been difficult, and you were able to navigate them the best way possible so far. Reaching out for the help you deserve speaks to your determination to be on a better path! I know that finding a new path on your journey is scary, and I am here to support you through your self exploration.

Creating a safe space for my clients to be their authentic selves is one of my top priorities as I find a great deal of self-discovery stems from this vulnerability. By using strength-based and compassionate approaches to therapy, I invite my clients to grow through reaching their goals and forming a better understanding of themselves. I strongly believe we are all capable of realizing our aspirations in life with a community of support that guides us along the way. I would be happy to join your support system and be there with you through whatever barriers you may encounter on this journey.

These barriers might surface in many different ways: anxiety, depression, struggles with eating, identity crises, social conflicts, relationship issues, trouble focusing, low self-esteem, trauma and/or everyday problems that just don’t seem to let up. I specialize in working with adolescents, young adults and couples that might be struggling with these difficulties. To lessen the impact that these struggles might have on my clients’ lives, I approach therapy through a trauma-informed lens and a blended use of skills work through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and processing through Somatic Therapy and Internal Family Systems (IFS). Although talk therapy and skills are both important aspects of the healing process, I understand that digging deeper is sometimes necessary for growth. That’s why I guide many of my clients through getting to know those deeper parts of themselves and become more in tune with their needs.

As I am just one member of my clients’ community of support, I enjoy bringing in their loved ones for family therapy to strengthen connection and support through understanding. In order to repair and strengthen connection in the couples I work with, I guide my clients through using psychoanalytic dialogue from Imago Relationships theory so that the couple feels heard, understood and validated from their partner.

In addition to this, it brings me a lot of joy to work with members of the LGBTQIA+ community as they navigate both spectrums of gender and sexuality. Growing into a stronger sense of yourself through the process of coming out can be both an empowering and daunting experience. I provide my clients with the skills necessary to handle transitionary periods throughout this exploration and support them every step on the way to self acceptance.

You know you best! I am simply here to help you deepen what you already know about your emotions, thoughts and actions. I am excited to hear from you and hope I can provide you with the support you deserve as you forge this new path for yourself!
