About Celia

I completed my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mercer University in 2014.  I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia and I provide individual and family therapy services to adults (18 and up).  I have extensive experience in the treatment of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) & Complex trauma, attachment disorders, eating disorders, relationship issues, anxiety, and barriers preventing individuals from being their best selves in their life, career, and relationships. I am intensively trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and I utilize DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), IFS (Internal Family Systems), and body based approaches in my practice. I believe in empowering my clients to find meaning and purpose in their life through exploring their family culture, understanding their emotions and behaviors, and creating an open and welcoming atmosphere for all parts of her clients.

I am trained in Somatic and Attachment Focused EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing and I utilize DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) and IFS (Internal Family Systems). I incorporate compassion, mindfulness, and body based approaches in my work with clients. I believe in empowering my clients to find meaning and purpose in their life through exploring their family culture, understanding their emotions and behaviors, and creating an open and welcoming atmosphere for all parts of her clients.
